Not Everything at Twitter is Bad as the Edit Tweet Button Could Soon be Free
It is worth noting that, for the most part, things are still not confirmed, but this has not stopped new information from coming forward, and the latest information we have received tells us that the Edit Tweet button might become free for everyone. According to Casey Newton of Platformer, Twitter is in the process of discussing plans that will make the Edit Tweet button available to everyone without the need to have the Twitter Blue subscription, which, at the time of writing, costs $4.99. The outlet also replies that there could be a yearly $99 plan for Twitter Blue, which boils down to $8.25 a month, which makes sense but again, would you really be willing to pay that much for a blue tick, especially when you have nothing to do with it. This could all be looked at as hearsay because the company is still in the process of making these changes. As we have seen time and again in the past, these decisions happen on paper, and then when it is time to implement, they are reverted. Just look back at the launch of Apple’s AirPower. This is a good initiative because a lot of people are trying to figure out alternatives to Twitter, and given Twitter’s situation, there is nothing much the company can do to stop that from happening. It is only a matter of time before we see which people have left the bird and which have not. Let us know what you think about all the changes that Twitter is going through in the comments below.
